High Speed Laser Scanning and 3D Digitizing
Laser scanning, often called "digitizing," is the process acquiring data points of a physical object by reflecting white laser light off the surface with a camera-like device.

Benefits of High Speed Scanning and 3D Digitizing:
  • Point Cloud data is easily transferred into STL format

  • Scanning and 3D Digitizing reduces lead-time from pattern to finished item/tool

  • Delicate Materials are easily scanned

  • Fine detail scan items as small as fingerprint

  • Scan size: From less than 1 x 1 x 1 in. to 47 x 35 x 16 in
The result
A white-light laser scan produces millions of points of data in a 3D space. 6.6 million points of data can be captured in 1 cubic inch space. This level of detail can find and map a fingerprint. Depending upon the intended use, prototyping, CNC, injection molding or dimensional analysis, many different types of file can be exported.
